One primary decision per article
Each guide is built around a specific traveler decision. When two pages would answer the same intent, updating or consolidating existing content takes priority over creating near-duplicate pages.
Source hierarchy
For fares, schedules, opening hours, policies, event dates and other changeable facts, we prefer the organization directly responsible for the information: government agencies, official tourism organizations, transport operators, airports, attractions, event organizers, hotels and product providers.
Facts, inference and recommendations
Source facts and editorial judgment are not treated as the same thing. When we infer how a location or route may affect a traveler, that conclusion should be presented as analysis rather than as an official statement.
Changeable information
Prices, operating schedules, transport rules, event timing, seasonal conditions and hotel policies can change. Material updates are rechecked, and readers are directed to current first-party information when a decision depends on live availability or future schedules.
No invented first-hand experience
We do not claim to have stayed, ridden, tested or personally visited something unless genuine first-hand evidence supports that wording.
Recommendations need boundaries
A useful recommendation explains who an option is for, who it is not for, and the trade-offs involved. Commission, advertising or commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions.
Corrections
Material factual errors, obsolete links or changes that alter the travel decision should be corrected before we expand a topic with more pages.
