The decision framework is the WATER ENTITLEMENT LEDGER. The correct order is shared pool → private-pool room SKU → heated-pool add-on → party size → exit count → final total. A room name containing “Private Pool” is not evidence that warmed water is bundled into the nightly price.
30-second decision
- You only want a good shared pool: start with a normal legal room. Pure Sky Pool is already a guest facility when operating.
- You want water space that is not shared: only then move into the Private Pool Villa product.
- You specifically want a heated private pool: add the separate heating service. The source records a current fee of KRW 150,000 per use and advance reservation by 14:00 the day before.
- Two adults and two children: the Private Pool Villa can enter the shortlist under the source's current occupancy rules.
- More adults: do not stretch the Pool Villa. Start with a legal Luna Family or Garden Family-type product instead.
There are three different “pool” products
| Layer | What it is | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Pure Sky Pool | Shared guest infinity pool | That your room has a private pool |
| Private Pool Villa | 93㎡ room SKU with living room, bedroom, private plunge pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and terrace | That the private pool is heated |
| Heated Private Pool | Separate paid heating service | That it is automatically bundled into the villa rate |
The Chinese source records current 2026 Pure Sky Pool hours as 10:00–19:00 from March through June and 09:00–20:00 from July through October, with winter closure and operation subject to change. Treat those times as a source-bound planning snapshot, not a permanent guarantee.
The heating fee can materially change the Villa premium
If warm private water is the reason you are upgrading, put the heating charge into the accommodation total before comparing platforms. The source records the current service at KRW 150,000 per use, with reservation required by 14:00 on the previous day. A cheaper villa rate that still requires this add-on is not directly comparable with a package that explicitly includes the heating service.
Occupancy comes before the private-pool photo
The source describes the Private Pool Villa as standard occupancy for two with a maximum of four under a two-adults-plus-two-children pattern. For a larger adult group, the right comparison moves to family room products that legally fit the party. Do not use a beautiful Pool Villa photo to justify an occupancy workaround.
The mountain location creates an Exit Count
Amber Pure Hill is on 1100-ro in the mid-mountain zone. Being relatively close to the airport by road does not make it a walkable airport hotel or a Yeondong city base.
Zero to one exit per night: the resort premium is easier to use because room, pool, sauna, dinner and quiet time happen in one block. Two or more exits per night: you are using a mountain resort as a city hotel, and repeated taxi or driving time starts eating the benefit.
If city access matters more, compare Grand Hyatt Jeju or Maison Glad Jeju. If you have not settled the transport model, use KoriNavi's Jeju rental-car decision first.
Compare only the same exact-property water contract
All three source-verified OTA links point to the same 2671-30, 1100-ro property. Fix dates, guest ages, exact room name, shared/private pool entitlement, any heating add-on, breakfast, cancellation and payment terms before comparing the final total.
Booking.com — match the same room and pool entitlement
Agoda — verify Private Pool and heating conditions before comparing
Verdict
Amber Pure Hill is easiest to justify when you plan to spend real time at the resort and know exactly which water entitlement you are paying for. It is easiest to overpay when “Private Pool Villa” is mentally upgraded into “heated private pool included,” or when you repeatedly leave the mountain property for city meals and nightlife.
