If Kusama is the main reason you are buying a ticket, do not let late-2025 or early-2026 reviews decide whether Bonte is “worth it.” Bonte Museum announced that Pumpkin and Infinity Mirrored Room – Gleaming Lights of the Souls would be unavailable from October 24, 2025 while they were moved. The new bonstar building opened in March 2026, with both works relocated there alongside new content including Tadao Ando’s Sea – Jeju Island and Naoshima. In other words, the product changed within a few months.
- You are going for Kusama: use the current official bonstar information, not an older review saying the works were no longer in Gallery 3.
- You are going for Tadao Ando: the original museum architecture and meditation space now sit alongside bonstar and the newer Ando exhibition, so the architectural content has expanded.
- You just need a rainy-day indoor stop: “indoors” is not the whole story. Bonte’s own transport FAQ notes that the nearest practical bus stop can still leave roughly a 20-minute walk, which matters a lot more in bad weather.

Standard admission is KRW 30,000 for adults, KRW 20,000 for teenagers and KRW 10,000 for children. Use those figures as the 2026 benchmark instead of comparing an OTA price with older guides that mention lower historical admission.
More importantly, the official museum now presents bonstar, Tadao Ando’s Sea – Jeju Island and Naoshima and the current six exhibition spaces as one visitor experience. Before paying, check that the ticket product you selected still maps to the current museum setup on your visit date.

Ticket platforms can sell a valid ticket while their descriptive copy lags behind the museum. Current Klook and KKday text can still echo the older permanent-display framing, while Bonte’s 2026 official information places the two Kusama works in bonstar. Use the museum for gallery location, maintenance and exhibition updates; use the OTA for the ticket product, validity, cancellation and checkout terms you are actually buying.

If the mirrored room is your main reason to visit, know that the viewing itself is only about two minutes
Bonte Museum’s current FAQ states that Infinity Mirrored Room – Gleaming Lights of the Souls is viewed for about two minutes per group. If you want another turn, you may need to queue again according to staff instructions. This is a classic case where the overall museum may take one or two hours even though the headline artwork itself is a short experience.
So “I love Kusama” should not automatically become “I need half a day inside the mirrored room.” Your time is more likely to go into moving between the original museum and bonstar, seeing other exhibitions, looking at the architecture and water features, and waiting. If you only want one photo stop, KRW 30,000 may feel expensive; if you value the full mix of Ando architecture, Korean traditional craft, contemporary art and bonstar, you are judging the complete product.
Without a car, Bonte is not the same kind of rainy-day fallback as ARTE MUSEUM
Bonte Museum is in Andeok. Its official FAQ is unusually direct about public transport: bus travel is possible, but the stop is not especially close and the final walk can be around 20 minutes. The museum even suggests using a taxi from Jungmun or the Donggwang six-way intersection transfer area for a more efficient last leg. In dry weather that is a transport detail; in heavy rain it changes the product.
Bonte works well with Camellia Hill, Jungmun and a southwest-Jeju day. Check whether renting a car in Jeju fits your trip before adding the museum to that route.
Do not cross the island just because Bonte is indoors. Use the Jeju rainy-day plan and Jeju bus guide to price in the last walk or taxi as well.

Klook’s current Bonte Museum ticket is valid for a selected date and the listing states free cancellation before redemption, eligibility for non-Korean passport holders, and free admission for ages 0–2. KKday’s current ticket is valid within 30 days from issue and can be cancelled unused, but the listing also states that the barcode becomes usable one hour after receipt and includes traveller-eligibility conditions linked to transport mode. These are not products you should compare only by the discount percentage on screen.

Last admission at 17:00 does not mean arriving at 17:00 gives you a complete visit
The museum is open until 18:00 with last admission at 17:00, while Klook’s current listing suggests roughly 1–2 hours for a visit. Arriving at 17:00 may technically meet last admission but leaves only about an hour to divide between the original museum, bonstar, the architecture and the works you care about.
If you want to slow down for the Ando architecture, water features and Kusama works, put Bonte earlier in the afternoon rather than making it the final stop on a southwest-Jeju day. That is also why it pairs naturally with Camellia Hill as an indoor-plus-garden combination, but neither attraction should be squeezed into closing time.
