Grand Josun Jeju vs Parnas Hotel Jeju: Is the Fourth Guest an Adult or a Child?

Start with the answer: “four travellers” is not a valid room-comparison unit. Two adults plus two children and four adults can unlock entirely different products at Grand Josun Jeju and Parnas Hotel Jeju. First identify the fourth guest, then keep only legal selected-date Room SKUs. Pool hours, kids facilities and price come later.

30-second decision
  • 2 adults + 2 children: both Family lines can remain on the shortlist, but enter each child’s real age so the booking engine returns a legal SKU.
  • 4 adults: Grand Josun Deluxe Family remains an official candidate. Parnas Family Twin is capped at three adults, so compare a four-adult Suite or Club Suite instead.
  • 2–3 guests: the fourth-guest identity issue disappears; pool schedule, room view, breakfast and cancellation regain priority.
  • Summer pool stay: Parnas uses afternoon pool sessions in July–August, while Grand Josun currently lists Garden Pool 09:00–21:00. Count only hours you will use.

01|Do not ask which hotel is cheaper for “four people”

Hotel occupancy rules usually contain both an adult baseline and a maximum that includes children. Parnas’s English Deluxe Family page currently lists 46m², Single + Double and Guests 3. Its Chinese page also says up to four including children, while the official FAQ caps Family Twin at three adults. These statements are not contradictory: they describe different age compositions.

The comparison therefore begins with 2+2 versus 4A, not with a generic four-person search result. A displayed price for a room your party cannot legally book is not a price benchmark.

02|Grand Josun Deluxe Family works as a candidate for both 2+2 and four adults

Grand Josun Jeju’s official Deluxe Family is 46.7m² with one King and one Queen, one sleeping area, one bathroom and a balcony. It is based on two adults; the current official maximum is four adults, or two adults plus three children including infants.

Legal occupancy is not the same as comfort. Four adults sharing a single 46.7m² sleeping area is a different product from Parnas’s 86m², two-bedroom, two-bathroom Prestige Suite. Grand Josun’s advantage here is lower room-class entry, not an automatic comfort win.

03|At Parnas, “Family” is not a four-adult room—but 2+2 is not automatically excluded

Parnas’s English pages often show three guests for Deluxe Family, Premier Family and Junior Suite Family, while its Chinese room pages list a maximum of four including children. The FAQ separately limits Family Twin to three adults and allows four adults in Club Suite products.

For 2+2, enter both children’s actual ages at Booking.com, Agoda or Trip.com and use only the Family SKUs returned for that date. For four adults, reset the comparison to an official four-adult Suite or Club Suite; never use the three-adult Family price as a placeholder.

04|Four adults create the real Room-Class Cliff

Parnas Prestige Suite is currently 86m² with a King room plus Twin room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and four-guest occupancy. This is not a Family room with one added guest; the room class, separation and possibly Club benefits all change.

ROOM-CLASS DELTA

Parnas legal four-adult Suite final total minus Grand Josun legal four-adult Deluxe Family final total. Pay the delta only if two bedrooms, two bathrooms, additional space and attached benefits are worth it to your group.

05|Pool and kids facilities belong after the occupancy gate

Grand Josun currently lists Garden Pool 09:00–21:00 and Kids Club 10:00–18:00. Parnas currently lists Estuary outdoor pool 09:00–22:00, indoor pool 07:00–22:00 and Family Lounge 07:00–22:00. From July 1 to August 31, afternoon indoor/outdoor pool use is split into 11:30–16:30 and 17:00–22:00 sessions, reserved by QR after check-in; leaving the selected session ends re-entry.

These facilities can affect value only after the party has a legal room. For four adults at Parnas, pool value must be assessed against the Suite final total, not a three-person Family display price.

06|Compare the same party and Room Contract across OTAs

Trip.com’s verified exact-property IDs are Grand Josun 68385630 and Parnas 94311150. Before opening prices, align dates, nights, adults, every child’s age, legal Room SKU, beds, view, breakfast headcount, facility or Club entitlement, cancellation deadline and taxes.

07|Verdict: 2+2, four adults and 2–3 guests are three different routes

2 adults + 2 children: retain both Family lines after the booking engine validates child ages, then compare beds, facilities and final total. Four adults: Grand Josun begins with a lower room-class candidate; Parnas begins at a Suite, so decide whether two bedrooms and two bathrooms justify the Room-Class Delta. 2–3 guests: the occupancy cliff largely disappears and pool time, view, breakfast and cancellation become the main decision fields.
