Jeju Booyoung Resort: Premium vs Premium Suite for 3–8 Guests

Jeju itinerary decision map: airport, east-west routes, and weather alternatives
Decision prompt for this page: return this condition to each day's transport and accommodation plan before comparing the next step.
30-second answer: For three or four guests who want a bedroom plus living room but do not need a real kitchen, the Premium can be reasonable. For six to eight guests who want one two-bedroom-and-living-room unit to keep the group together, the Premium Suite is the main money SKU. If you expect cooking and frequent housekeeping, even 148.5 square metres cannot turn it into a serviced apartment.

This page covers only Jeju Booyoung Resort. The same complex also has Jeju Booyoung Hotel. Trip.com likewise separates Resort property 6989385 from Hotel property 3912580. Similar addresses do not create the same accommodation contract.

01
Space Rights Firewall

A large room buys space rights: do not misread Resort as Residence

The official current Resort Premium is 75.9 square metres for a standard occupancy of three and maximum of four. The Premium Suite is 148.5 square metres with two bedrooms plus a living room, for a standard occupancy of six and maximum of eight. However, the official common rules also state that all Resort room types are Clean Type and cooking is prohibited. A microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator, and tableware are provided only for simple food handling.

In-stay cleaningCurrent official rule: one complimentary cleaning from a three-night stay; none for stays below three nightsReturn the service gap to the cost of a longer stay
Unique Thesis | SPACE RIGHTS FIREWALL: Every additional square metre is visible, but cooking rights, cleaning frequency, and the number of included breakfasts are what change a group stay. Keep space and service in separate ledgers before comparing room prices.
02
Party Breakpoint

Three or four guests use the Premium curve; six to eight enter the Premium Suite curve

The Premium's value is that three or four guests can share a living room and sleeping zone. The Premium Suite's value is keeping six to eight guests together in a two-bedroom-and-living-room unit. Compare the latter's “one large Suite final total” against “two smaller rooms plus the friction of splitting the party,” rather than deciding by price per square metre. If you are still choosing between one large suite and two rooms, first read one family room or two rooms in Jeju with children.

03
Stay Length

The housekeeping gap carries a different weight for one or two nights than for three or more

On a one- or two-night stay, the absence of in-stay cleaning below three nights is usually not the main issue; the large space is immediately useful. But if you planned to use the six-to-eight-person suite as a long-stay base, include the no-cooking rule, cleaning frequency, rubbish handling, and towel arrangements in the decision instead of looking only at the room's square metres.

Residence Expectation Gate: A refrigerator, tableware, and microwave do not mean cooking is permitted. If meals for a young child, an older traveller's diet, or a long group stay depend on a kitchen, this gate decides before an ocean view does.
04
Pool Overlay 2026

The pools are not one amenity: they run on three different clocks

The current official 2026 notice lists Resort 1F Outdoor Pool A from 1 June to 31 October, 09:00–21:00; Outdoor Pool B from 26 June to 6 September, 09:00–20:30. The Hotel B1 indoor pool runs 06:30–21:30 and is complimentary for Hotel and Resort guests. All three can change for water-quality or facility management, so the label “has a pool” must still be tested against the stay date.

Pool Value Gate: If everyone leaves early and returns late each day, the Pool Premium is close to zero. If six to eight guests will spend an entire afternoon at the complex, complimentary guest pools may genuinely offset the large-suite premium.
05
Breakfast Headcount

A room for eight does not automatically turn Breakfast Included into eight servings

The official Diamond restaurant currently serves breakfast from 07:00 to 10:30, with walk-in reference prices of KRW 39,000 for adults and KRW 24,000 for children. Group rooms easily produce a mismatch where the Room SKU legally holds six to eight guests but the Rate includes breakfast for only some of them. Put breakfast headcount on its own line before calculating the final total.

06
OTA SKU Purity

Opening the Resort page is not enough: Agoda currently mixes in Hotel SKUs

During this check of Agoda's exact Jeju Booyoung Resort property, the main products included Premium and Premium Suite, but the same page also showed a product labelled Hotel / Standard Twin. The final entity check must therefore confirm that the Room Name still belongs to the Resort/Premium series; the page title alone is insufficient.

Trip.com has a separate Resort property, 6989385, whose current page corresponds to Jeju Booyoung Resort at 222 Jungmungwangwang-ro. This page's Trip.com button uses only that exact property and never falls back to the Hotel or a generic Seogwipo search.

07
Conversion

Compare only two exact destinations: same party, same SKU, same inclusions

A Booking.com exact-property landing page for the Resort was not independently verified in this round, so no Booking.com button is shown. On both Agoda and Trip.com, fix the complete party, Resort Room SKU, view, breakfast, and cancellation terms before comparing the final total. If renting a car, review what to confirm before renting a car in Jeju before pickup and return.

Verdict: What Jeju Booyoung Resort sells best is large shared space for a group, not apartment-style service. Its product logic is clearest for a one- or two-night stay where three or four guests need a living room, or six to eight guests need two bedrooms plus a living room. If cooking and frequent housekeeping are core requirements, compare genuine residence accommodation first.

Data update

This page was rechecked on 14 August 2026 against official Jeju Booyoung Hotel & Resort information for Resort rooms, housekeeping, 2026 pools, and Diamond breakfast, plus Agoda and Trip.com exact-property products. Prices, available rooms, inclusions, cancellation terms, and facility opening still depend on the actual stay date's payment page and official notices.
