Unique Thesis: ROOM + POOL TICKET LEDGER. The official 2026 rooftop-pool season runs from June 26 to August 31, 13:00–21:00, with cleaning from 16:00 to 16:30. Admission is KRW 15,000 per adult and KRW 10,000 for children aged 36 months to 13 years. Booking the hotel and buying pool access are two separate transactions.
01 | Cannibalization: This Is Not Another Seongsan Hotel Roundup
Where to stay in eastern Jeju already answers which area to choose; K-TREE covers the renamed-property contract reset; and Playce Camp deals with room-hours value. This page answers only the payment question for a family room plus a 2026 pool ticket at The Best Jeju Seongsan. If you are also considering Co-op City Hotel Seongsan, read the head-to-head Seongsan hotel comparison.
02 | The Pool Is for Guests, but It Is Not Included Free
The official schedule lists June 18–25 as a free pre-opening period. The paid season runs from June 26 to August 31: KRW 15,000 per adult, KRW 10,000 per child, and KRW 20,000 for a sunbed rental. The rooftop pool is not heated and may suspend operations during strong wind, rain or thunderstorms.
03 | A Family of Four Should Lock the Bed Configuration First
The hotel's current room list gives Deluxe Twin a double bed plus a single bed for up to three guests. Family Double Twin has two double beds and accommodates up to four, while Family Suite has a king bed plus bunk beds and also accommodates up to four. For two adults and two children, those two four-person rooms are not the same product if sleep arrangements matter. It is the same decision framework as choosing one family room or two rooms in Jeju with children.
04 | Pool Value Depends on When You Return to the Hotel
If Udo, Seongsan Ilchulbong and Aqua Planet keep you out until after dinner, the value of a pool open from 13:00 to 21:00 drops sharply. A pool ticket delivers real use only when you plan to remain at the hotel after the 15:00 check-in. If you have not decided whether to spend two consecutive nights in Seongsan, start with whether two days in eastern Jeju justify two Seongsan nights.
05 | Track Ocean View, Breakfast and Pool Separately
| Item | What to lock | Invalid comparison |
|---|---|---|
| Room type | Guest count and bed type | Using the lowest two-person rate for a family of four |
| Ocean view | The named view SKU | Assuming every Seongsan hotel room has an ocean view |
| Pool | Date, guest count and same-day operation | Assuming a hotel with a pool includes access in the room rate |
| Breakfast | The same number of included guests | Comparing room-only with breakfast-included |
06 | Only Then Compare the Exact Property on Three OTAs
Across all three platforms, first lock 26 Dongnyuam-ro, dates, guest count, room SKU, view, breakfast and cancellation terms. Then add every required pool ticket to the final total.
07 | Verdict: Treat the Pool as a Separate Ticket
This hotel fits travellers who have already chosen Seongsan, expect to return during a summer afternoon, and are willing to buy pool tickets for the actual number of swimmers. If your stay falls outside the pool season, every day ends late, or nobody plans to swim, set the pool value to zero and compare the room itself with K-TREE and Playce Camp.
