The Best Western property guide separates two, three, four, and five-to-six guests into Standard, Triple, Family, and Connecting room ladders. This comparison does not repeat those individual answers. It places them in one transaction question: if Gloucester's ROH is cheaper than a specified room, is the difference large enough to compensate for the risk of receiving the wrong bed setup?

The simplest calculation does not force a won value onto risk. Ask instead: if the hotel allocates an unacceptable configuration, will you have to tolerate it for a night, book a second room, or cause someone to sleep badly? If the answer is yes, the ROH discount cannot sit beside a specified Twin or Triple in one lowest-price ranking.

02Zero out shared conditions first: both are city bases with 15:00 check-in and 11:00 check-out

Current Trip.com exact-property data still fixes Gloucester at 57 Sammu-ro and Best Western at 27 Doryeong-ro. Both currently use a 15:00 check-in and 11:00 check-out clock. These shared conditions should not be counted again as a premium for either hotel.

This article therefore does not make “four-star,” “near the airport,” or “Jeju City” its main conclusion. The real comparison is whether tonight's sleeping configuration must be guaranteed, whether you can actually use the breakfast clock, whether a larger group must move into Family or Connecting inventory, and the final total under the same cancellation flexibility.

03Three guests provide the cleanest like-for-like test: Double plus Single versus Double plus Single, three Singles versus three Singles

A three-person trip exposes false lowest-price comparisons most clearly. Gloucester's current inventory shows a Deluxe Twin with a Double plus Single and a Triple with three Singles. Best Western also separates Deluxe Twin and Deluxe Triple product lines. If three adult friends do not want to share beds, lock three Singles at both hotels. Only bring Double plus Single into the shortlist when two adults and one child accept the shared Double.

04For four to six guests, the premium is not in square metres: it is in doors, bathrooms, and legal occupancy on one booking

Best Western's official current Family Suite has 56 square metres, two sleeping spaces, and two bathrooms. Its Connecting product is about 60 square metres and is essentially two linked guest rooms. For a two-generation family or group of five or six, their value is not simply “more space.” It is whether one accommodation contract can provide more private zones and bathrooms.

Gloucester also sells Family and Suite SKUs, but the actual available products change by OTA, date, and occupancy. This article does not infer that a particular Gloucester Suite always accepts six guests. Once the requirement reaches two doors or multiple bathrooms, make the payment page prove legal occupancy first. Then compare the complete cost of one group SKU with two standard rooms.

05The breakfast clock can be a genuine tie-breaker: do not buy an unusable inclusion when leaving at 06:30

Gloucester's Trip.com exact property currently lists breakfast at 06:00–10:00. Best Western's official Patio currently serves breakfast at 07:00–10:00. If you normally leave after 08:00, the one-hour difference has almost no value. But on a final night with a 06:30–06:45 airport departure or rental-car return, the usability of an included breakfast may directly change the answer.

This does not mean Gloucester should always win because of one clock. Breakfast hours and prices are variable. At payment, confirm that the selected Rate actually includes breakfast, how many guests it covers, and the current serving hours for the stay date. The point is simple: a breakfast you cannot use is not equal in value to one you can.

06Six OTA buttons compare only exact properties under the same room contract

The central Trip.com mapping already contains Gloucester 7090954 and Best Western 2098321. They were rechecked in this round and retained; no second guessed URLs were added. 07Verdict: buy the right level of control, not merely the “cheaper hotel”

Gloucester more readily enters the shortlist when: you are staying one night, have high bed flexibility, and an ROH discount genuinely exists; or you can secure exactly the same Twin or Triple SKU there as at the alternative. Best Western more readily enters the shortlist when: three to six guests need the Triple, Family, or Connecting ladder to state their group requirements from the start, or you are willing to pay for a particular door and bathroom structure.

The hotel to eliminate still depends on the selected-date final total. First align the five fields of Allocation Control, Bed Type, Party Size, Breakfast, and Cancellation. If Gloucester's ROH discount remains large and a wrong configuration has no cost for you, it is a real discount. Conversely, if receiving the wrong bed once would damage the entire night's sleep, paying a little more for certainty may produce the lower total cost.
